Introducing Our New Brightening ILUMA Skincare Gems! This year, IMAGE Skincare added two new family members to the ILUMA collection. This range is designed to lighten, brighten, and illuminate the complexion, and focuses on the power of plants to even out the skin tone. ILUMA intense brightening exfoliating cleanser
The first is the ILUMA Intense Brightening Exfoliating Cleanser. This cleanser is made up of bamboo spheres, enzymes, and smart sensing beads. It leaves your skin squeaky clean and bright all day. The beads that are found in the cleanser give a mild polish to the skin and if you press on them too hard, they just dissolve. This makes it suitable for all skin types and concerns including those with sensitive skin.
If your skin is dull or tired or you just want a good make up remover, this could be right up your street. I personally love that it makes my skin feel hydrated and bright at the same time. It is a beautiful cream/clay consistency that lathers easily when mixed with water.
ILUMA intense facial illuminator
The next new product from IMAGE Skincare is the Intense Facial Illuminator. I think the name says a thousand words! This can be incorporated into anyone’s skincare routine, but especially for those who suffer with hyperpigmentation or sun damage. The main ingredients in the Intense Facial Illuminator are Glycolic Acid for gentle exfoliation, Vitamin C for its antioxidant properties and Tranexamic Acid for its ability to lighten stubborn parts of the skin. In terms of pigment, this product works on both brown pigment as well as red pigment, making it ideal for those with redness.
You can apply this during the day under your SPF moisturiser or at night under your serums and cream. The first thing I noticed after a couple of weeks was clarity in my skin and a reduction of those pesky marks I get after a breakout. It really managed to reduce these sections of hyperpigmentation quite successfully.
